Liverpool fans on Twitter have been gushing over former Reds striker Danny Ings.
This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page relaying quotes made by manager Jurgen Klopp on the centre-forward.
Would you take Danny Ings back at Liverpool?
Yes
No
In his recent press conference ahead of the Reds’ Saturday showdown with Southampton, Klopp referred to Ings as “our boy” and that the Englishman is a “wonderful person” (per LFC).
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were keen to share their own similar sentiments on the former Liverpool man.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans praising Ings:
Everyone likes Danny.

The 27-year-old signed for the Merseyside club back in 2015 from Burnley for a fee of £7.47 according to Transfermarkt. But after scoring just four goals in 25 appearances for the Reds, Ings was shipped over to Southampton who he signed for on a permanent basis last summer.
Now that Klopp has revealed the admiration everyone at the Merseyside club still has for Ings, many Liverpool fans have followed suit and shared their own positive messages for the striker.
Hope he wins the golden boot ??

What do we think?
It’s so good to see so many Liverpool fans appreciating Ings despite him not currently playing for the club, or even with him having a decent goal-scoring record when he was at the club. This shows that Ings is still a much-loved figure at the club.
