Liverpool fans have been discussing Julien Laurens’ claim about Kylian Mbappe’s potential fee.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @empireofthekop shared a post on their page relaying information posted on their website originally shared by French journalist Julien Laurens on ESPN.
Regarding a transfer move for Mbappe, Laurens revealed that Liverpool would have to pay “€300m” (£252 million) plus wages for the PSG man.
Should Liverpool pay the money for Mbappe?
Yes, pay it
No, too expensive
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were quick to share their thought son this latest update.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to the post:
Absolutely not worth it. He is a SUPERB talent but we can’t spend all our budget on one player.

The 21-year-old is currently valued at £180 million according to Transfermarkt. Now that the amount of money that PSG would consider to sell the Frenchman has allegedly been revealed, a number of Liverpool fans have changed their minds in wanting their club to sign Mbappe.
With that amount of money we can buy three strong players

Only €150 million after we sell Salah. He’s a bargain. BUY.

Nike will help out

What do we think?
It comes as no surprise that a number of Liverpool fans have been put off by the huge price tag for Mbappe. Given that their most expensive transfer is currently, £76.19 million on Virgil van Dijk according to Transfermarkt, it would be a huge jump from that to Mbappe’s fee.
