These Liverpool fans discuss the latest Xherdan Shaqiri injury update ahead of the Wolves clash on Thursday.
Shaqiri has told Liverpool’s official website that he hopes to be back later this week, but also said that he can’t say right now when he’ll be back.
The injury update got these Liverpool fans talking, with some of them excited for the 28-year-old’s return to the side, however, others suggested that maybe the Switzerland international should be moved on.

Should Liverpool sell Shaqiri?

So far this season, Shaqiri has played six Premier League matches for Liverpool with just two of them being starts, which could be why some of these Reds fans want the 28-year-old to be sold. One fan even suggested the Switzerland international was following in the footsteps of Daniel Sturridge. Not in a great way, mind, with his injury record appearing to be a concern as the former England international spent much of his time at Anfield in the treatment room.

What Do We Think?
It’s probably down to if Shaqiri wants to leave Liverpool, as we can’t see why Jurgen Klopp wouldn’t want the 28-year-old in the squad as a valuable backup to the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
