Leicester City will pay tribute to their former owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who tragically lost his life by placing a statue of him outside the King Power Stadium. Kun Vichai, as he was known, two members of his staff, the pilot and a passenger were killed when the aircraft spiralled out of control and crashed in October 2018.
The club’s loyal supporters, who held their former owner in extremely high-esteem, have taken to social media to show their approval regarding the club’s plans after Leicester Till I Die shared the news on Twitter to their followers.
Should the local council contribute to the cost of the statue?

What do we think?
During his time as the owner of Leicester City, he oversaw incredible progress as the club established themselves as Premier League outfit before going on to become the English champions against all odds in the 2015/16 season.
Mr Srivaddhanaprabha was not only a breath of fresh air to the football club but to the local community too and was greatly loved by the entire city. His legacy will live on at the King Power Stadium forever and the presence of a statue will serve as a strong reminder of just how much he gave to the Foxes for many years to come.
