Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has, perhaps, become one of Brendan Rodgers’ most important players. The Nigerian has become a real fan-favourite and it’s almost three years to the day since he joined the East-Midlands club from Genk.
Recognising this, the club’s official Twitter account published a ‘throwback’ to the day Ndidi signed for the Foxes but at first glance, this particular tweet left some fans with their hearts in their mouths.
Is Ndidi Leicester City's most important player?

What do we think?
If ever you needed a reminder of Ndidi’s popularity amongst the Leicester City faithful, this was it. The 23-year-old has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top defensive-midfield players and is now valued at £40.5m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk).
He’s appeared in 20 of the club’s 21 league games this season and has been labelled by some as the Foxes’ ‘midfield general’. A fantastic player and somebody Brendan Rodgers will be keen to hold onto for a very long time so for now, Leicester fans can breathe a sigh of relief.
