Supporters of Everton have shown their desperation for the club to not sign former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Nabil Bentaleb.
According to the Times, the Toffees have been offered the chance to sign the Algerian from Schalke 04 (via Everton News Feed), which had fans calling for him to not be signed.
? Everton and a number of Premier League teams have apparently been offered Schalke midfielder, Nabil Bentaleb. The 25 year old hasn’t been included in Schalke’s first team for over a year due to unprofessional behaviour (Source – The Times) pic.twitter.com/eGocVm6hBM

Weve got enough of bad attitude players who think they’re big time. We dont need any more.

Why are we constantly being linked to players with constant unprofessional behaviour
— Lee (@Crosby71) January 8, 2020
Exactly the type of player we shouldn’t be going for

Would Nabil Bentaleb be an upgrade on Everton's current midfielders?Yes, he has some talentNo, all as bad as each other |
The former Spurs man has only featured for the German club’s second team so far this season (per Transfermarkt) and has not played for the first team in over a year due to ‘unprofessional behaviour’ (per The Times).
With Everton’s current crop of players having been criticised for the same thing following the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend (via The Athletic), it was a hard pass from supporters.
Unprofessional behaviour?
Would fit in well in our midfield.

What do we think?
As many Everton fans have suggested, it is never a good idea to have an unprofessional personality in the dressing room and while he may have been offered to the Toffees, that does not at all mean that they are interested.
