Everton fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest update surrounding Fabian Delph’s Instagram controversy.
This comes after Everton fan Twitter account @EvertonBlueArmy shared a post on their page relaying information originally published by the Liverpool Echo.
The report claimed that the club are “set to hold talks” with Delph “about him arguing with a fan on Instagram as part of an internal investigation into the situation.”
Should Fabian Delph be punished for his actions?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a number of replies from Everton fans who were eager to share their thoughts on the matter.
Here’s a sample of Everton fans reacting to the post:
If had replied like that to a member of public in my job, I’d be on a disciplinary minimum! So should he, his responses were out of order in my opinion. Only been here 5mins and thinks he’s a legend, shows a poor attitude. He can go and take Gylfi, Schneiderlin & Walcott with him

The Englishman reportedly got into an argument with an Everton fan over the 1-0 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend. This latest update reporting that Delph will have talks with the club over the argument led to a number of Everton fans tweeting their thoughts on the situation.

Probably out with a broken thumb due to excessive tweeting.

I thought he’d have been a good signing and he may still turn out to be, hopefully. But if anyone watched the amazon documentary on Man City then you can’t be shocked how he’s portraying himself at Everton.

What do we think?
Getting involved in an argument on social media is very unprofessional from Delph who should know better. It’s good that the club are taking action and not letting it go.
