Everton supporters have ripped into former Goodison Park star Ross Barkley following a report that stated that Chelsea fans want him gone.
On New Year’s Day, football.london reported that the Englishman was one of the players that supporters most wanted to leave in the transfer window (via Liverpool Echo).
With a 6.55/10 average rating for the season (per Whoscored), and Chelsea supporters clearly wanting the 26-year-old gone, some Everton fans are doing their best to make sure he doesn’t return.

Would you be happy if Everton re-signed Ross Barkley?Yes, he is still decentNo, he's not good enough |
Since leaving the Toffees, Barkley has featured in 61 games for the Blues, in which he has bagged six goals and six assists (per Transfermarkt).
He really established himself as a star during his time at Goodison Park, making 179 appearances in which he managed to produce 27 goals and 28 assists, but he suffered with an injury in his last season at the club.
What do we think?
As some other supporters have mentioned, the £15-million fee that took Barkley from Merseyside to Stamford Bridge does not look like as bad business as it did at first.
