This week Crystal Palace announced that Sam Woods was joining Scottish Premiership side, Hamilton on loan. The centre-back will stay with the Scottish side until the end of the season where, hopefully, he will see more regular first-team football.
When the club announced Woods’ exit, fans were encouraged. They think getting youth players regular football is a sensible move. It will be how they assure the club survives in the future. This proactive approach could be great for Roy Hodgson’s side in the long run.

This is all good business but not so high profile. This is where the future of the club is assured.

Will Sam Woods become a starter for Palace eventually?
Yes
No
One supporter suggests that Woods’ success would be even more meaningful because of his connection to the club. According to this fan, Woods is a life long supporter of the Eagles.
Really hope Sam Woods makes it. Palace fan doing well, nothing beats itv

What do we think?
Hopefully, for Woods, his time in Scotland will be fruitful. If he can come back with the right experience, he could cement himself as a first-team regular back in London upon his return. Until then, the 21-year-old will be focused on playing the best football he can.
