This week it has been rumoured that Crystal Palace are in advanced talks to sign Jamal Lewis from Norwich City. The 22-year-old has made 20 appearances for the Canaries this season already but has apparently caught the eye of Roy Hodgson’s side.
When the news was shared on Twitter by @CPFC_NEWS_FC there were many Palace fans who were excited by the news. They believe the signing of Lewis would contribute to a very successful transfer window, assuming a few other signings, like Yannick Carassco, were to be brought in. Other think the signing would be a great opportunity to strengthen their options in that area of the field.
Yeah, I watched in the FA cup last season and he look good. Has the potential to a decent signing for us.

I’ve allowed myself to dream of a world where we sign Nathan Ferguson, Jamal Lewis and Yannick Carrasco all this week and I know I’m going to be disappointed #cpfc

Why does Jamal Lewis coming in mean PVA has to leave? Would be good to have 2 left backs on the books surely

Do you think Jamal Lewis would be a good signing for Crystal Palace?
Yes
No
Others aren’t willing to believe the rumours. They don’t think their side could pull off the signing, yet, would love to see the player sign. There are a few fans who are sceptical about his ability to walk into Palace’s first-team, however.
Jamal Lewis isn’t going to happen in this window. I feel like we will get Ferguson, Carrasco & another loan deadline day

What do we think?
There are still a few days for the club to negotiate a deal with Norwich City for the young full-back. However, shortly after suggesting the club were in advanced talks to sign the player, @CPFC_NEWS_HQ quickly backtracked, suggesting they had gotten the facts wrong.
