Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest post by injured striker Wesley.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport relayed the Brazilian’s post from his official Instagram page.
The striker thanked those that had sent him supporting messages after picking up his season-ending injury earlier in the month.
Has Wesley been a big miss for Villa since his injury?
Yes
No
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their own thoughts on Wesley’s message.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:
Come back and show us what you can do big man. All the best for your recovery.

The striker, who is valued at £27 million (as per Transfermarkt), suffered a serious knee injury in Villa’s 2-1 win against Burnley at Turf Moor this month, ruling him out for the rest of the season. Now that the Brazilian has shared a post on his Instagram thanking everyone that had sent him well-wishes, he promised he “will be back for you all stronger” after his recovery.
This post then travelled over to Twitter and caused a number of Villa fans to continue their support for the striker.
Love you big man rest easy

What do we think?
It’s great to see the Villa fans getting behind Wesley during his difficult period, especially considering he had only scored five goals in his 21 Premier League appearances this season (per TransferMarkt). Despite this underwhelming goal-scoring record, it will mean a lot to the 23-year-old to see so many Villa fans sending their well-wishes to him as he recovers.
