Phil Parkinson has been the Sunderland manager for around two and a half months now. The club appointed him on October 17th, 2019 after sacking Jack Ross (Sunderland). Since his appointment, the manager has struggled to find success. He has only managed to win two games out of 14, losing seven (WhoScored.com).
When digital journalist James Copley tweeted out all of the setbacks Parkinson has faced in his short tenure, fans of the Black Cats quickly responded. Copley insisted that it is getting to a point where Parkinson’s efforts are untenable. Fans agreed with the statement, but some still don’t think the club will sack him. Another suggests that what he has done to the club is unforgivable, not just untenable.
its OK, according to PP we’re just going through a ‘difficult period…’ which seems to have been from the time he started the job and will no doubt stretch out until he finishes up… hopefully the sooner the better.

He needs to go but there is no chance he will be sacked as club cant afford it. Roll on administration and a new owner

Unforgivable

Would you sack Parkinson now and take Ross back?
Yes
No
Some fans can’t believe Parkinson’s record when comparing it to his predecessor’s.
Jack Ross got the sack with a far better record. How much longer is PP going to be given. This is the worst season on record of SAFC.

So Jack Ross only lost ten games out of 75 as Sunderland manager and Parkinson has lost 10 in the short time he’s been here. Wow

What do we think?
The fans are growing impatient, and rightly so. They would much rather see the club cut its losses and replace Parkinson now before it’s too late.
