After letting the Scottish League Cup slip from their grasp after a dominating performance in the final, Rangers fans will be regretting the match. Not only was it a great opportunity to win silverware, but it was also a chance to show their worth against their doubting rivals.
But unfortunately for Rangers, their rivals won the match 1-0. Luckily there was another opportunity to face them that same week. On Tuesday, the Rangers U16s played the Green-half of Glasgow in their own Club Academy Scotland League Cup. The young Gers won the match 2-1 before lifting the trophy. Rangers fans rejoiced at the news, as it gave them something to cheer for. It also gives them something to look forward to in the future.
Well done young lads and to all the coaching staff! Big things happening at the HTC

Do you think this U16 group can win a trophy with Rangers in the future?

One fan claimed that Rangers had the best academy. Fans can expect to see the club bring some talented players through the ranks in the next few years.

What do we think?
A win in the cup final against their rivals is a great moment for the Rangers fans. It is also a great moment for the young players too. Hopefully, they can keep their eyes focus on the future where they can come and make a difference to the first team.
