There were many familiar faces on the field for Rangers as the team tied Young Boys 1-1. The team’s top goalscorer this season, Alfredo Morelos, found himself on the scoresheet yet again. Allan McGregor and his sturdy hands were placed in goal. But Steven Gerrard was forced into including a not so familiar face after Filip Helander was unavailable.
Nikola Katic started the match and impressed fans greatly. They thought he was an excellent addition to the squad. They reckon he was a contender for Man of the Match, an impressive feat for a player who hasn’t seen much game time so far this season.
The whole team played well, Morelos, Borna, Katic and Jack all deserve MOTM

Borna had a great game, Katic also.

Great achievement but i wish we could put teams away. Katic for his first game in a while did little wrong

Should Nikola Katic replace Filip Helander in the starting lineup?
Yes
No
Other believe he has what it takes to stay in the starting 11. His pace makes him a welcome addition to the Rangers defensive lineup.
Katic should be starting every week. IMO he has pace something Helander and Goldson lack. Rangers are not a bad side just a bit unlucky here and there this season so far.

What do we think?
Fans will find out on Sunday whether Gerrard trusts Katic, who is valued at £1.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), to start another game. After his performance against Young Boys, however, it would be harsh for the English manager to drop him. It is clear, however, that fans want to see him given another chance.
