After Rangers dropped points to Aberdeen in their midweek matchup, fans were frustrated at the defensive mistakes made leading up to their opponents’ goals. Had the defensive line been more solid, Rangers would still be joint leaders at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
This led to many fans calling out the starting defenders. But while some fans were more focused on slating the starters, others proposed a solution. They want to see Nikola Katic reintroduced into the Rangers’ lineup. The fans think the Croatian would bring some much-needed pace to the backline. One supporter suggests a partnership between Katic and George Edmundson.
Bring back katic didn’t do anything wrong to be dropped in the 1st place dropped because he didn’t come with a big price tag

What do we think?
It would certainly be a bold move for Steven Gerrard to make two major changes to his backline. Especially considering that first-choice right-back Borna Barisic is already a doubt for the game. The decision could be a game-changer to for the manager. Fans will have to wait until Sunday to see what he chooses to do.
Katic, who is valued at £1.8 million (as per Transfermarkt), has only made seven appearances for the Bluenoses this season, with his last coming back in October.
