The head coach of Nottingham Forrest spoke out about his disappointment after the 1-0 loss to Cardiff City on Saturday.
The Forest head coach said: “We have taken points in some difficult stadiums and at home we need more consistency and unfortunately tonight we missed too many chances.”
The Reds dominated possession, having 69.1% of the ball, however, this could only turn into two shots on target, despite having 32 total shots.

Played the wrong team today needed to be stronger with playing a big physical side like Cardiff, reminded me of West Brom opening day

True – more chances and shots ON target would have helped today.

Very poor , was hard to watch from the stands as we know there is so much more

Some of the fans were blaming the set-pieces that they feel were wasted, which is true because out of the nine corners Forest had, only 22% of them were on target.
Corners, practice corners next week please.. They were all shocking.. pic.twitter.com/yhUbYXLVD7

What Do We Think?
Wasting potentially dangerous chances in this league won’t get you very far, however, Nottingham Forest are currently fourth in the league table, so this is definitely no time to be panicking, although Forest are the lowest-scoring team in the top six. Lamouchi’s side are back in action on Friday against a mid-table Millwall, so they will need to be more clinical with the efforts they create, otherwise, they could be returning from the capital with another defeat under their belt.
