Some Liverpool fans have been reminiscing on Twitter over former defender Daniel Agger and his time at the Merseyside club.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldRd96 shared a post on their page of a picture of Agger playing for the club with the caption “I miss this guy”.
This post then led to many other Liverpool fans sharing their own opinions on the Danish international.

What do we think?
To make so many appearances for Liverpool goes to show what a special player Agger was to the fans. The fact that some fans have been imagining the pairing of Agger and Virgil van Dijk also proves how highly thought of the Dane still is on Merseyside.
The Danish defender managed to secure an English Super Cup and the League Cup during his time on Merseyside, as well as forming a brilliant defensive partnership with Jamie Carragher.
