Liverpool fans have been discussing on Twitter the potential appointment of Steven Gerrard as Jurgen Klopp’s replacement.
This comes after Liverpool fan account @empireofthekop shared a post on their page the fact that Gerrard’s contract at Rangers runs out in 2024, the same year as Klopp’s new extended contract at Anfield.
This post then led to some Liverpool fans discussing the possibility of the former Liverpool legend taking over as Reds boss when his contract runs out at the Scottish club.
Is Steven Gerrard the right man to replace Jurgen Klopp?
Yes

The former Liverpool midfielder took on the role of manager at Rangers in 2018. It was announced earlier that Gerrard had his contract extended to 2024, the same year Klopp’s new extension has him at Liverpool until.
What do we think?
It could be a pure coincidence that both manager’s current contracts run out at the same time. The only way to find out is to wait until that time comes around and there’s an official announcement as to who will take over from Klopp if he does indeed leave in 2024.
