Some Celtic have been left stunned and awestruck at the sight of the club’s stadium during the frosty period in the Scottish capital last night.

The Hoops are to play Hamilton at home on Thursday in a Premiership game on Wednesday night, days before their highly-anticipated League Cup final against fierce rivals Rangers on Sunday afternoon.

They are currently at the top of the table, tied with the Gers on points but only ahead on goal difference.

The club’s stadium, Parkhead, was alight with frost in the evening yesterday and some fans captured the sight and posted them on social media.

Some Hoops fans are stunned at the sight of the stadium.

Celtic’s home form has been very impressive so far this season. The last game they lost in all competitions was against Livingston away from home back in October, but they have lost to Cluj in the Europa League at Parkhead.

But other than that European loss, Neil Lennon’s men haven’t lost another game at home. In the league, the Hoops have won every single game and have conceded just two goals during this time. Only Kilmarnock and Hearts have found their way past them at Celtic Park this season.

Their away form did become a bit patchy in October. Before they lost to Livi, the Bhoys were held to a 1-1 draw by one of Lennon’s former clubs in Hibernian. But a remarkable away result came in the Europa League when they beat Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. They replicated the same result at home too.

What do we think?

The Hoops are doing enough justice to Parkhead with how they are playing. They have scored the highest number of goals at home in the league with 27. They have also conceded the lowest number of them at home, just two.

Due to the minor differences with Rangers, the home form will end up being very crucial in what is left of the ongoing season.
