Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to praise Kortney Hause after making his first Premier League start for the club against Sheffield United.
This comes after Hause shared a post on his official Twitter page saying how disappointed he was with the 2-0 defeat but was “very proud” to make his Premier League debut for the club.
This post from the defender then gathered many replies from Villa fans who were eager to share their delight with the Englishman.
Should Kortney Hause keep his place in the Villa starting XI?
Yes, keep him in
No, drop him
Here’s a sample of Villa fans praising Hause’s performance against Sheffield:

Played a blinder mate, you and mings would rock that defence, tell Wes that we are all behind him and that he will get there

Definitely one positive from the game yesterday! The no nonsense defending, especially in the first half was needed.

The 24-year-old started in the place of first-choice centre-half Tyrone Mings who is currently out with injury. Despite losing the match 2-0, some Villa fans still showed solidarity with Hause and recognised his good performance.
Well played fella, very steady and composed performance!

Well battled mate. Not an easy place to go!

Top class from you Kortney. Should be proud of that performance even if the result wasn’t what we wanted

What do we think?
It’s great to see so many Villa fans getting behind and praising Hause for his performance on his Premier League debut. Even with the club in a poor run of form resulting in them being in 17th place in the Premier League table, Hause seems to be the shining light at the club at the moment.
If he can continue his good form while Mings is out, he could well become a regular starter for Villa.
