Aston Villa fans have been pleading on Twitter for the club to use Andre Green in a deal to sign Said Benrahma in the upcoming January transfer window.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying information originally shared by Football Insider that Andre Green has emerged as a target for Brentford and other clubs.
This post then led to some Villa fans replying with their ideas of swapping Green for Brentford’s Benrahma.

Green is currently on a less than successful season-long loan deal at Championship side Preston North End. Benrahma, on the other hand, has been a regular name linked with a move to Villa Park this season. This week, it has been reported that Villa are looking to terminate Green’s deal at Preston and move him somewhere else.
With Benrahma’s Brentford side one of the clubs supposedly in the running to sign Green, some Villa fans have been making the connection between the two players for a potential swap deal.

What do we think?
If Villa can sign Benrahma, who is valued at £7.2 million (as per Transfermarkt), as a result of Green getting a move away from Preston to Brentford, this would certainly be a win-win situation for all involved.
