Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have shown their admiration for Joao Moutinho following a post from the Old Gold’s official Twitter account.
On Tuesday evening, the Molineux club posted a picture of their Portuguese middleman to Twitter (as per Wolves), which led fans to jump at the chance to wax lyrical over their midfield maestro.

Is Joao Moutinho Wolves' best current midfielder in recent form?Yes, it's doubtlessNo, not quite |
The 33-year-old was thrust to near folklore status at Molineux in recent weeks, having signed a new contract to stay with the club two seasons beyond the end of the current one (via BBC).
During his time under Nuno Espirito Santo, the Portuguese midfielder has featured in just shy of 70 appearances for the Molineux club, having bagged two goals and 16 assists (per Transfermarkt).
With the latest opportunity offering itself to fans to have their say on Moutinho, who seems to only be getting better with age, they grabbed the chance with both hands.

What do we think?
The Portuguese midfielder, who is valued at £9 million (Transfermarkt), is certainly making an unforgettable mark since his arrival in the midlands for £5 million from Monaco in the summer of 2018 (via BBC).
If he can continue on his current trajectory over the remaining two-and-a-half years on his contract, then he may go down as one of the Old Gold’s greatest ever players – certainly the classiest.
