Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers were left worried following some transfer speculation surrounding a Patrick Cutrone departure from Molineux.
According to la Repubblica, the 21-year-old Italian could be set to depart the midlands with Bologna reportedly making contact with the Old Gold over a potential transfer (via Talking Wolves).
With the Molineux faithful seeing the potential held by the young Italian, they were desperate for the rumours to be false and no departure in the pipelines.
Italian club Bologna reportedly made contact with Wolves recently to enquire about Patrick Cutrone as they want bolster their attack for the rest of the season.

Tbh they’re right. He is being underused. But we can’t afford to let squad players go atm, even though it might benefit him more.

Should Wolves sell Patrick Cutrone if Bologna make an offer for him?Yes, he's not good enoughNo, he needs more time |
So far this term, the young forward has only bagged three goals and four assists in 22 games for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side (per Transfermarkt).
Despite his slow start to life at Molineux, Wolves fans remain keen to watch the Italian develop and were not interested in a potential departure for the 21-year-old.

Cant see it, he’s our only back up striker without pillaging the 23s.

What do we think?
As many supporters mentioned, what Wolves need is greater squad depth, not less. Selling Cutrone would only weaken Nuno’s squad and with no viable replacement on the horizon, the deal looks unlikely.
