Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have called for Ruben Vinagre to be rewarded with a starting spot in Thursday’s Europa League clash.

On Tuesday morning, the Old Gold posted a video from the warm weather training camp which Nuno Espirito Santo’s squad is currently at, in which the Portuguese attacker shows his skills (per Wolves).

With supporters impressed over what was on show from the 20-year-old, they called for him to start the Group K clash at home to Besiktas on Thursday night.

Should Nuno Espirito Santo field a rotated side for the final Group K clash?

So far this term, the 20-year-old has featured in 16 clashes for Nuno’s side, totalling 883 minutes of action, over which he has managed to bag two goals and no assists (per Transfermarkt).

As only exactly half of those games have seen the Portuguese attacker play the full 90 minutes, Wolves fans wanted to see the youngster given another crack at a starting spot in the final Europa League group stage game.

What do we think?

With the Old Gold already qualified for the knockout stages of the competition (per The Mirror), and Besiktas already eliminated, it is likely that Nuno could field some rotated players, meaning Vinagre could be given the green light for a starting spot.
