Spurs fans were full of praise for the Under-18 squad after they triumphed 4-2 over Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup.
Goals from Chay Cooper, Max Robson and two penalties from Troy Parrott ensured the win over Liverpool at Stevenage’s Lamex Stadium on Monday evening. Many fans were quick to compare the score to that of the senior team, who have won three out of three games since Mourinho’s appointment, although they have conceded twice in each game.
It was an impressive display from the Under-18s against strong opposition and Mourinho and the rest of his coaching staff will no doubt be taking note of some of the talented youngsters on show. Troy Parrott especially added further to his status with another two goals and it does not seem long until the 17-year-old will be playing under the Portuguese manager in the senior set-up.

Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the youth team beat Liverpool and seemingly replicate some of the results that Mourinho has been achieving with the senior side.
What do we think?
It was an impressive performance by John McDermott’s Under-18 side and they will no doubt be hoping for a good run in the FA Youth Cup, with the club yet to win the competition, although beating last year’s winners will be a huge confidence boost.
