Spurs fans were full of praise for manager Jose Mourinho after a video emerged of the manager giving the match ball to young striker Troy Parrott following the weekend win over Burnley.
Parrott came off the bench against Sean Dyche’s side to make his Premier League debut in Saturday’s 5-0 win and Mourinho was quick to congratulate the 17-year-old after the final whistle. The youngster had made his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup defeat to Colchester in September but was made to wait for his first minutes in the Premier League.
The young striker had caught the eye of fans after his four-goal haul in the UEFA Youth League against Red Star Belgrade and made his senior debut for the Republic of Ireland last month. The 17-year-old has been heavily touted as a star of the future for Spurs and he will be delighted to have finally made his Premier League debut under Jose Mourinho.
Will Parrott start against Bayern Munich on Wednesday?

These Spurs fans were clearly delighted with the video of Mourinho and Parrott and will be hoping to see Parrott get his first start in the near future.
What do we think?
Mourinho is really showing his class at Spurs and clearly seems to have won over a lot of fans after recent performances. With Spurs already having progressed through to the knockout stages of the Champions League, a first start in Europe against Bayern Munich on Wednesday looks increasingly likely for Parrott.
