Spurs fans were delighted to hear that the club are hoping to sell Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose and Victor Wanyama in the January transfer window.

According to the Telegraph (via Ricky Sacks), Mourinho is keen to sell all three players in January in order to raise funds for incoming transfers. The Eriksen transfer saga has been ongoing since the summer, with the former Ajax man looking likely to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Wanyama was very close to a move to Club Brugge in the summer and has struggled for game time after that move collapsed, making just four appearances all season. Rose similarly to Eriksen, has revealed his desire to run down his contract with the club, but with that deal not expiring until the end of the season, Mourinho is clearly keen to move the 29-year-old on in January rather than losing him for nothing.

Reaction from Spurs fans to the news that Mourinho wants to move these three players on can be seen in the tweets below.

One fan even stated that the club should look to sell Moussa Sissoko.

These Spurs fans are clearly keen to see the trio leave in January but remain sceptical about whether Eriksen or Rose will leave the club for money.

What do we think?

Spurs seem destined to lose Eriksen on a free transfer at the end of the season, with foreign clubs able to approach the Danish midfielder on a pre-contract deal in January. Rose is a strange one as he is clearly second-choice at Spurs but seems content with sitting on the bench for the next two seasons rather than leaving for first-team football. Wanyama, however, looks likely to leave and Spurs fans will be happy to see the back of the injury-prone Kenyan.
