Spurs fans were not happy to hear that midfielder Christian Eriksen has reportedly rejected a move to Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window.
According to the Daily Star (via Hotspur Related), Eriksen is set to reject a move to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side in the upcoming window. The 27-year-old midfielder has reportedly rejected several contract offers from the club and looks set to leave Spurs on a free transfer in the summer when his contract expires, despite the reported interest from United.
Since joining Spurs from Ajax in 2013, Eriksen has gone on to make 297 appearances for the North London club: contributing 68 goals and 89 assists. The Danish international’s stats show that he can be considered amongst the world’s best in his position, but his form this season has suffered after he revealed his intention to leave the club at the end of last season, with both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho opting to use the midfielder from the bench.
Was Eriksen right to reject Manchester United?
Yes
No

Not being funny but what does this guy actually want? No interest in playing at Spurs hasnt for months, not playing well enough to attract the clubs that he thinks he can just walk into!

These Spurs fans are clearly frustrated that Eriksen seems unwilling to leave in January, with many suggesting that the 27-year-old is no longer good enough to play for a top club.
What do we think?
You cannot blame Eriksen, who is valued at £81 million (Transfermarkt), for rejecting a move to United considering the problems at their club at the moment, however, it does seem strange that he is willing to spend the rest of the season on the bench. It is unlikely that the Danish international will be able to force his way into Mourinho’s starting team at Spurs and should really look for a move away in January to ensure he is fully fit ahead of the Euros in the summer.
