Spurs fans have rightly been praising South Korean winger Heung-Min Son on Twitter this week after the 27-year-old’s wonder goal in the 5-0 win over Burnley.

Son, who signed from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, scored one of the goals of the season so far after he picked the ball up in his own half and ran the length of the pitch before calmly finishing past Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope. The winger has been extremely impressive in Jose Mourinho’s first five games in charge; which led to the new manager comparing him to legendary Brazilian forward Ronaldo by giving him the nickname ‘Sonaldo’.

Saturday’s win against Burnley was the perfect response following the disappointing defeat away at Manchester United last week and Son once again produced a world-class display against Sean Dyche’s side; earning a 9.53 rating for his efforts. His wonder goal takes him to 77 goals in a Spurs shirt and the South Korean will surely be eyeing up the 100th goal for the club over the next couple of seasons.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed Son’s wonder goal and very extremely complimentary of the winger’s all-round performance on Twitter.

What do we think?

Son has well and truly established himself as one of the best attacking players in the Premier League; averaging a 7.63 rating so far this season. He looks to have improved under the management of Mourinho and it seems as if Spurs’ £72 million-rated man is only going to get better.
