A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a video showing Allan Saint-Maximin looking rather cold before the Toon played Southampton.

The Frenchman can be seen shivering and trying to keep warm, which has led to many Newcastle fans responding.

Who is at fault if Saint-Maximin has suffered a bad injury?

Some think that this the reason he runs so quickly – to keep warm.

Other Toon supporters have warned him that it will only get colder.

A few Magpies fans want to know how bad his injury is.

What do we think?

The North East of England is notoriously cold, and Saint-Maximin is going to have to be braver if he is going to thrive in those conditions.

However, despite looking unprepared for the game, the Frenchman turned in a good performance – playing a part in the second goal and just generally being a nuisance down the left.

The 22-year-old, though, ended the game with a hamstring injury, and he confirmed to reporters after the match that he thought it was a bad one.

However, there has been no update from the club regarding Saint-Maximin, and many Toon fans are just hoping he will be ok.

Steve Bruce believes that if he has suffered a bad injury, then it is his fault for playing him because he thought that Saint-Maximin looked tired but decided to play him anyway.

Saint-Maximin has had a positive impact on this Newcastle team, and everyone connected with the club will be hoping he is ready to return to action soon.
