Kevin De Bruyne is back to his brilliant best and BBC Sport’s Garth Crooks has made him one of the favourites to land the prestigious PFA Players’ Player of the Year award.
The Belgian was sensational in the recent victory over Leicester City and, in the eyes of the club’s supporters, the 28-year-old is the standout candidate to receive the prize.

What do we think?
De Bruyne has scored six Premier League goals this season and has provided his team-mates with an incredible 11 assists in just 17 appearances. The Belgian’s ability to effortlessly find spaces in between the lines makes him unplayable at times.
The £135m-rated ace (per TransferMarkt) is, maybe, without doubt one of the most complete footballers we’ve ever seen in the division and although his technical ability is perhaps what most people rave about – his work rate and energy levels should not be overlooked.
A generational talent, De Bruyne continues to light up the Premier League and if he can transfer that kind of form onto the European stage City have a great chance of going all the way in the Champions League.
