Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react to the latest information on the upcoming January transfer window.
This comes after Villa fan Twitter account @villareport shared a post on their page relaying information originally published by Villa journalist Gregg Evans that the club can’t afford Milot Rashica’s £35 million price tag.

The 23-year-old left-winger, who is currently valued at £31.5 million according to TransferMarkt, plays in the Bundesliga for Werder Bremen. In 15 appearances for the German club so far this season, Rashica has scored, nine goals and picked up three assists along the way (per TransferMarkt).
Indeed, news of Villa’s reluctance to pay his big price tag got some fans talking on Twitter.

What do we think?
It’s clear that Villa would have to break the bank if they were to secure the signing of Rashica. It all falls down to if they would be willing to do that to get him and if he would want the move.
