Manchester City’s victory over Leicester at the weekend was their 250th win in the Premier League. The Foxes took the lead through Jamie Vardy but goals from Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan and Gabriel Jesus ensured Pep Guardiola’s side ran out as the winners.
Saturday’s result saw the gap between City and Leicester closed to a solitary point heading into what will no doubt be a demanding festive period.
Putting the club’s current position to one side, the win saw the Champions reach a significant landmark in their Premier League history and the supporters were loving it.

What do we think?
Manchester City haven’t always been the Premier League powerhouse they are nowadays and so whilst opposition fans will perhaps mock them for celebrating this achievement, the fact they’ve racked up 99 wins under Pep Guardiola alone shows you how significant the strides they’ve made recently are.
Having got the better of Brendan Rodgers’ side on Saturday evening, the champions will be confident of leapfrogging the Foxes in the coming weeks and re-establishing themselves in second place.
