Benjamin Mendy has not always been flavour of the month at the Etihad Stadium, as his inconsistent performances and injury woes have meant his time with the club has been a mixed bag.
However, in recent weeks, he’s certainly improved and despite the return of Oleksandr Zinchenko to fitness, it’s the Frenchman that the fans want to see start at left-back on Friday.
City travel to Molineux to take on a strong Wolverhampton Wanderers side who currently sit in sixth position fresh off the back of having closed the gap on Leicester City in second to just a solitary point.
Has Benjamin Mendy finally turned a corner?

What do we think?
According to WhoScored.com, Mendy was one of the teams standout performers versus Leicester on Saturday and that will have gone a long way in convincing the supporters that the 25-year-old is on his way back to his best.
Signed from Monaco for £51m in 2017, the club had high hopes for the defender but has he finally turned a corner? The City fans will certainly hope so. With a difficult schedule ahead rotation will be key but we expect Mendy to start at Wolves where Pep Guardiola’s side will face a difficult test.
