Leicester City welcome Liverpool to the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day in what is no doubt the standout fixture of the round.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are currently ten points behind the Reds despite the leaders having played a game less due to their involvement in the FIFA Club World Cup.
In an attempt to generate the best possible atmosphere, the club have asked for fans to be in their seats by 7:45pm, that’s 15 minutes prior to the scheduled kick-off time in order to enjoy the planned light show.
Should this game be played in the afternoon?
Yes
No
I have never felt so embarrassed of my football club. Hull installed awful lights like this and followed it up with chants written on reverse of advertising boards. Clappers were far enough…

What do we think?
Is the fact that Leicester City are looking to put on a light show pre-kick off such a bad thing? Judging by the responses of the supporters, it appears they are more frustrated by the late start time than anything else.
Boxing Day is always difficult in regards to travel and so we’re sure they won’t be the only fans facing difficulties on Thursday. This is a huge game for Brendan Rodgers’ side who will be desperate to respond to last weekend’s defeat by beating an in-form Liverpool side. Defeat or even a draw for the Foxes could see Manchester City leapfrog them into second and that’s something they will no doubt be keen to avoid.
