Dejan Lovren could only manage 40 minutes against Bournemouth. According to the Liverpool Echo, the centre-back walked ‘off gingerly’ when being substituted.
Lovren has played 670 minutes in the Premier League this season, however, perhaps, this blow will mean his game time will start to suffer, with him being 30-years-old it’s no surprise that he’ll pick up a knock here and there.
Fans were clearly disappointed with the Croatian’s latest knock, with many fearing that it could have a detrimental effect on Liverpool’s chances moving forward.
39′ Early change for the Reds; Lovren is replaced by @trentaa98. Gomez will now play alongside VVD.

Will Lovren be a miss for Liverpool?
Yes
No
Lovren finished the match with a WhoScored rating of 6.8/10, so the Croatian was having a decent but not amazing game. However, fans continued to show that his potential spell on the sidelines could be a real problem for those at Anfield in the imminent future.

What Do We Think?
Dejan Lovren’s average WhoScored rating in the Premier League is 7.22/10, and whilst that’s, perhaps, not only impressive, it is also the seventh-highest in the whole Liverpool squad. At 30-years-old, you can expect the centre-back to pick up a few injuries, but let’s wait and see how serious this really is before writing Lovern off, and blowing the potential problems Jurgen Klopp’s side could face a little out of the water.
