These Liverpool fans react to the fresh Kai Havertz rumour, the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder has been playing well this season.
Havertz is just 20-years-old and currently playing his football in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen. So far this season, the attacking midfielder has played 15 matches in the Bundesliga, scoring twice and assisting once, not the greatest return but the 20-year-old is currently averaging a WhoScored rating of 6.84/10 across his league appearances.
Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about the Havertz rumour:

This would be really good for us. With Lallana outgoing, he’ll make a really good replacement. Excellent player he is.

Would you like to see Kai Havertz or Jadon Sancho join Liverpool?
Kai Havertz
Jadon Sancho
Both?
Havertz’s UEFA Champions League outings haven’t been as successful, with zero goals or assists in his last five Champions League outings.
Could this be our second signing in January 2020 ?

What Do We Think?
Havertz may be valued by Transfermarkt at £81m and, whilst he is not performing amazingly in the UEFA Champions League, you could argue that the figure would be far too expensive for what you’re getting at the moment; however, with Havertz being just 20 years old, whoever purchases him will be looking for a long-term return, not an immediate impact you’d normally expect from a more seasoned pro.
If Liverpool has the funds then they should definitely consider this move, as it’s likely he’ll only strengthen one of their rivals anyway which could cost them in the future.
