Leicester City are flying and just when it looked as though they were going to be held to a frustrating draw by a struggling Everton side, they pulled a winning goal out of the bag which saw them remain within eight points of Liverpool at the top (BBC).
The goal would not have stood had VAR not been in place at the King Power stadium and the technology’s intervention only added to the drama – sparking wild celebrations all around the ground.

Leicester City’s fantastic run of form continues as the Foxes registered their sixth consecutive league victory. The supporters are buzzing with some even daring to dream of a repeat of their thrilling title win in 2015/16 and a scenario in which Brendan Rodgers pips his former club to the coveted title.
The King Power Stadium has never struggled when it comes to generating an atmosphere, the acoustics inside the ground are brilliant and the club are always looking at how they can enhance it – just one of the reasons they are one of best ownership teams in the Premier League.
The positivity around the club is infectious and just when the supporters were preparing to make peace with a draw the players produced a moment of magic subsequently giving the supporters something to celebrate.
