Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has put the frustrating draw at home versus Norwich City down to being “just one of those days”.
Norwich City took the lead through Teemu Pukki after 26 minutes but Vardy’s glancing header at the near post was turned into his own goal by the Canaries goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Despite having the lion share of possession and almost double the number of goal attempts the Foxes were unable to find the winner bringing their run of eight consecutive Premier League victories to an end.
Is Jamie Vardy the best striker in the Premier League?
Yes
No
These Foxes fans had sympathy for their star man and are now looking forward to their midweek Carabao Cup quarter-final.
One of those days Jamie.
On reflection it keeps us honest/humble and not get ahead of ourselves. ??? #LCFC
We have Everton midweek to come back firing on all cylinders; just in time for Pep and Man City.
Rest and recover well. We go again Wednesday. ?#Fearless

What do we think?
Despite the weekend’s draw, the Foxes continue to perform at a consistent level way beyond anybody imagined at the start of the season. The general consensus was that the title race would be a straight-up shoot-out between Liverpool and Manchester City but Brendan Rodgers’ side are sandwiched in between the two and crashing the party.
On a personal note, Jamie Vardy has scored 16 goals in 17 Premier League appearances this season – an incredible return from the former England striker. Despite being 32-years-old, Vardy looks as sharp as ever and his blistering pace is proving a thorn in the side of every defence he’s come up against. Leicester City are flying and one disappointing result should not take away the gloss from what they’ve achieved so far.
