Kasper Schmeichel saved two penalties during the shoot-out to help his side secure a place in the semi-finals of this season’s Carabao Cup.
The Dane saved spot-kicks from Cenk Tosun and Leighton Baines subsequently giving Jamie Vardy the opportunity to confirm the Foxes progression – which he took emphatically.
Schmeichel has been with the Foxes since 2011, and in the eyes of these supporters, he’s continued to improve throughout his time in the East-Midlands, as many of them appear to be gushing over the £10.8m-rated ace’s latest display (TransferMarkt).
Can Kasper Schmeichel be classed as LCFC's greatest ever goalkeeper?
Yes
No
Best keeper at penalty situations ??Kasper was a good keeper with flaws, then he was a class championship keeper, then he won the title and had a one off great season, then he kept a decent top flight standard, now as he gets older he’s getting better and better and is undoubtedly in the top four in the prem

What do we think?
Schmeichel has become a part of the furniture at the King Power and has continued to improve with each passing season. Goalkeepers often appear to peak in their early thirties and the Danish international brings strong leadership qualities to a relatively young dressing room.
The stopper has made 353 appearances for the Foxes and in that time has kept 113 clean sheets. He will forever be a Leicester City legend for that remarkable title-winning season under Claudio Ranieri alone – but Schmeichel is not done yet and will no doubt be keen to write more history with a side many may feel are stronger than the class of 2015/16.
