Leicester City defender James Justin made his Premier League debut for the Foxes during the 2-0 victory over Watford at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night. The 21-year-old joined the club during the summer but has been forced to wait patiently for his opportunities largely down to the brilliant form of Ricardo Pereira.
Brendan Rodgers called upon the former Luton Town man with approximately ten minutes remaining and he replaced Harvey Barnes.
Were LCFC correct to reject Fulham's interest in taking James on loan?
Yes
No
Justin, full of pride took to social media to share his delight at making his debut and the team being able to take all three points. These supporters were excited by the defender’s brief cameo.
Christ mate you took that game by storm. So confident. Me and my dad were very very impressed – pace, deft touches, took the game to them as much as anyone did all match.

What do we think?
Justin was rumoured to be the subject of an approach from Championship high flyers Fulham earlier in the week according to Football Insider and perhaps Rodgers’ decision to introduce him late on versus Watford was partly tactical but also a deliberate show of confidence in a player who may have felt the move would have been beneficial to him.
Justin was voted in the League One team of the year for the 2018/19 season – the season in which Luton earned promotion to the Championship but the feeling around the King Power Stadium is that he is a very capable deputy to the more senior Ricardo Pereira and that he is a player for the future.
