Leicester City are said to be ready to offer in the region of £25m to sign Juventus defender Merih Demiral. The Turkish international has struggled to break into Maurizio Sarri’s side but the Foxes feel he would add further quality to an already fully functional back line.
With reports of a January move from Turin to the East-Midlands hotting up, how do some fans feel about the players potential arrival?
Would you like to see the club splash out on Merih Demiral next month?

Brendan will coach him into a world beater.

Only thing is he isn’t going to get into our first 11 either, but would be great backup

Despite the enthusiasm from some, there are others scratching their heads as to why the players value has increased given his lack of game-time in Serie A this season.
Blimey not made the starting 11 but gained 12 million € in value in 5 months?

What do we think?
Demiral’s value has increased due to his impressive displays on the international stage. The defender is a part of the Turkish national squad that have secured qualification for the European Championships in 2020 and, so although he’s not featured anywhere near as much as he would have liked for his club, there have been opportunities for him to show his qualities.
The former Sassuolo man could be set to join up with his international team-mate Caglar Soyuncu in the near future as Leicester City continue to build for what looks a bright future under Brendan Rodgers’ guidance.
