Everton Supports have stated that they want to club to try all they can to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as Marco Silva’s replacement.
Following the Toffees’ latest defeat in the Premier League, at the hands of Leicester City, the situation looks perilous for the 42-year-old gaffer (as per The Telegraph).
After the Goodison Park club were urged to move for the Argentine by Kevin Ratcliffe (via Mirror, 1/12/2019, page 67), according to the Liverpool Echo (Live blog, 09:49, 02/12/19), many were in agreement.

If it’s a case of paying 12.5 mil back to spurs give it them, getting potch in would lift the whole club

Would there be any chance of Everton tempting Mauricio Pochettino to Goodison Park?Yes, it could be doneNo, absolutely no chance |
Following his sacking by Tottenham Hotspur, however, there is a rumour that he may have to return his £12.5-million payout should he return to the Premier League this term (per The Mirror).
Due to this, some of the Goodison Park faithful saw a stumbling block with any potential moves for the former Spurs gaffer.
If we appoint Poch. I will forget what has happened so far this season lol!! But doesn’t have to give up £12.5m if he gets a job with another club this season?

One thing for sure, he would coach players better. Still no way we could persuade him tho

While some had legitimate reasons for why Poch may be a no-go, others took a more humorous approach as to why the deal may not work from another angle.
He hasn’t got a relegation on his CV we wouldn’t dare go after him

What do we think?
Getting Pochettino to manage in the blue half of Merseyside, given the rumoured repayment of his payout if doing so, would be an incredibly tall order.
While he would be fantastic for the Goodison Park club, it just seems a little too far fetched to become a reality.
