Supporters of Everton have reacted to the latest contract news surrounding Carlo Ancelotti’s move to Goodison Park.
According to the Times, the 60-year-old Italian is set to become Everton’s highest-paid manager ever and the third-highest paid in the Premier League on a £9-million-a-year deal (via Toffee TV).
Despite the highly touted wages, supporters were not bothered over the cost of getting Ancelotti, such is their desire to see him appointed.

Don’t care what he gets paid, I just want more performances from our squad when players get back that match the energy and passion shown over the last 3 games.

Do you have a problem with Carlo Ancelotti being payed £9 million per year with Everton?Yes, that's a ridiculous amountNo, you have to pay for class |
However, other supporters felt that the deal was a fair price for a man of Ancelotti’s talents and were not too bothered by the price it will cost to see him arrive.
Most established manager we have ever had and one of the games greats so it’s obvious

It’s a fact but Not sure how this is relevant as most new appointments are usually on more dosh than their predecessors

Stuff in being more expensive than it was in the past shocker.

What do we think?
For anything in football you have to pay a fairly big whack for these days, be it tickets, replica shirts, new players or even managers.
The fee is doubtlessly a sizable one, but Ancelotti is a world-class manager and if he can bring success to Goodison Park then he is worth every penny.
