Supporters of Everton have aired that they have had enough of Michael Keane following the defeat to Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.
Following a 2-2 draw with the Foxes on Wednesday night, the Toffees crashed out of the competition on penalties, 4-2 (as per BBC).
For his involvement in the game, the English centre-back was awarded a 4/10 performance rating (per Liverpool Echo), which fell way below par for Everton fans’ expectations.
Michael Keane was a legitimately great defender last season. One of the best center backs in England, maybe the best outside the top four.
He hasn’t just been bitten by the regression monster. He’s been eaten whole.

Was never good, Zouma made him look good

What you watch lad? He had about two decent games. His best game of his Everton career was possibly on Sunday.
He’s a dreadful footballer. Let alone a £30m international centre half. He plays like he almost knows himself he doesn’t belong at the level he’s found himself at.

He has never been one of the best centre halves outside the top four. Nonsense that statement.. He is one of the worst Everton buys in recent history

Should Everton look to ship out Michael Keane in January and bring in a replacement?Yes, he's not good enoughNo, we should stick with him |
So far this term, the former Burnley centre-back has played on 18 occasions for the Merseyside club in league and cup, in which he has bagged one goal (as per Transfermarkt).
Across all of his games this season, the 26-year-old has an average rating of 6.7/10 so far (via Whoscored), which has left Everton supporters disappointed in the Englishman.
Hes a cart horse with a turning circle of a ferry and the football IQ of a child!

Don’t rate him at all as a centre back to lead a defence. Too slow and too many mistakes in him.

Strongly disagree with this unfortunately. He’s always been garbage. Just got heavily praised by the media last season every time we kept a clean sheet. Always been weak into a challenge and very poor on the ball.

i don’t want to see Coleman or Keane wear the shirt ever again , we were lucky we weren’t down 4-0

Michael Keane is done, get him out the club

What do we think?
Whether you believe that he did well last season or not, all are absolutely certain that he is hitting nowhere near the levels that he should be this term.
While he was at Burnley, Keane showed huge signs of promise and, arguably, the same last season – it will be up to whichever new manager comes into Goodison Park to get that out of him again.
