Supporters of Everton were left ecstatic following the announcement that Richarlison had signed a new five-year deal with the club.
On Tuesday evening, the Goodison Park club broke the news that the Brazilian attacker had put pen to paper to remain in Merseyside (as per Everton).
With the swirl of rumours that have been surrounding Marco Silva of late (as per The Telegraph), many were delighted that the club finally had some good news for them.

The 22-year-old attacker has been situated in the blue half of Merseyside since his £35-million arrival from Watford, which had the potential to rise to £50 million, in the summer of 2018 (as per BBC).
Since his arrival, the Brazilian has featured in 55 games for the Toffees, over the duration of which he has bagged 20 goals and a further four assists for teammates (as per Transfermarkt).
With a player of his quality being one of few things that the Goodison Park faithful have had to shout about this season, they could not hide their delight over the new deal.

What do we think?
It is without a single doubt, Richarlison’s contract signing for Everton is a massive positive for the club and fans have correctly recognised that.
With 24 goal involvements in 55 outings, it would be difficult not to see why the Goodison Park faithful adore the 22-year-old attacker.
