Everton supporters have gushed over Morgan Schneiderlin following a post on the Frenchman made by the club’s official account.
Following Saturday’s 3-1 victory over Chelsea, the club posted a statistical breakdown of the 30-year-old’s game to Twitter on Monday evening, stating that he won eight duels, three tackles and two aerial duels (per Everton).
With supporters pleasantly surprised over the positive performance from the man who has, so far, been enduring a torrid season, they voiced their pleasure over his display.

Schneiderlin was brilliant on Saturday! One of the best performances I’ve seen him play in an Everton shirt!

Even won a few in the air. Best thing was I didn’t notice him ! At least not for missing a tackle or being too slow. He covered Sidibe very well so could have been exposed doing that, took a chance for the team

Surely must have been more enjoyable playing like that, putting a shift in and getting the deserved win. Keep it up

Should Morgan Schneiderlin be kept or sold in the January transfer window?Sold, he's just not good enoughKept, he's an important option |
In the clash with Frank Lampard’s Blues, the Frenchman smashed his average rating for the season, picking up an 8/10 (as per Liverpool Echo), much better than his 6.26/10 average rating for the season so far (per Whoscored).
So far this term, the 30-year-old has featured in 13 games for the Toffees, over the duration of which he has scored no goals and bagged one assist (per Transfermarkt), which left Everton supporters surprised about his good performance.

That was his best game in blue and shows what he’s given in his previous games

Fair play to him, a lot of negativity pointed his way week in week out but he always gets on with it. Made up for his performance on Saturday, hopefully a good run of games can get his confidence up & the fans on his side.

What do we think?
As many supporters allude to, Schneiderlin has been way off the mark with previous performances so far this term and will need a few more performances like he delivered against Chelsea to be back in the good books.
