Would Unai Emery be a good appointment for the Toffees? No, we need someone betterYes, he is still a great manager |
The Spanish manager was sacked by the Gunners in late November following a string of poor results being capped off by a 2-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League (via BBC).
Everton have had managerial struggles of their own of late, with Marco Silva being relieved of his duties before Duncan Ferguson stepped into the role to claim three points against Chelsea on Saturday (as per BBC).
Having claimed victory over Premier League gargantuan, fans of the Toffees had alternative suggestions to appoint as manager ahead of Emery – with their tongue doubtlessly in cheek.
I’d rather give it to dunk for the rest of the season

What do we think?
The former Arsenal gaffer has not been out of his job in North London even two weeks yet, so the Everton job may have come at too soon a time for the Spaniard.
However, with nine pieces of silverware to his name as a manager (via Transfermarkt), his managerial record speaks for itself, despite a poor 18-month stint at the Emirates Stadium.
