It was a huge win for Crystal Palace as the team beat Bournemouth 1-0 after a goal from Jeffrey Schlupp secured victory in the 76th minute (BBC). It wasn’t an easy match, however, with Mamadou Sakho receiving a red card early in the game. But the team showed great character to see out the win.
And while fans were obviously happy with the performance of the players, Roy Hodgson’s influence was not forgotten. These supporters praised the English manager greatly.
The win meant a lot to them after three consecutive losses against top-four opposition.

What do we think?
If Hodgson can take the team to a spot in the top quarter of the league, it will be a massive achievement. These fans have belief, though, that the manager can do just that.
