When TalkSport posted a tweet asking fans who the worst person to manage their club was, there were a plethora of responses. One Sunderland fan nominated Chris Coleman as their worst ever manager.
And while many fans agreed that Coleman was not successful at the club, they were quick to offer up other names. Lawrie McMenemy, Mick Buxton and Terry Butcher were all nominated, but there was one name that was consistently mentioned.
That man was David Moyes. Moyes managed the club in the Premier League and resigned at the end of the season after the club suffered relegation (BBC).
Not David Moyes?

What do we think?
There have certainly been some bad managers in the past for Sunderland. It appears, however, that the man who relegated Sunderland to the Championship in the first place is receiving a majority of the stick. It begs the question – if Moyes’ team were not relegated that year, would the Black Cats still be in the Premier League today?
